Surprised, I still cant make it out :p

lol, this was my new year bash which came in the form of a Prabhat Pheri at our place. Well none the less, it was a very pleasurable moment as firstly it being the first day of the year with all of us in the cover of God @our home.
Brother was here from Australia which also was a blessing as a disguise. I still think that this was a trick that my Dad keyed in, to keep us at home that night [ Facilitators ] however which revealed itself as a great experience.
We started preparing from the night 8:00 to be exact. Cleaned and vacated the drawing room for the Guru Granth Saahib to be brought in soon. This was done by my brother Preet as I was busy attending Gaurav’s Dad’s Retirement Party at his place [ Will post that also soon ]. I brought along more required jaggery for the Prasaad and then we boiled about 15 Ltrs Milk at night and slept at 2:00; Woke up at 3:00 and got ready.
It was about 2 Degree’s in the morning chill and I was getting a head ache due to lack of sleep and the chill. I finally decided to wear a Parna which could also be termed as he God’s Presence and Wish.

My Dad, just after the Prabhat Pheri left, He was sitting there and all of us were sitting near him which was sorta comfy and also I was joking with my brother about his girlfriend on which my dad said

“Dass de, Rabb de sammne jhoot na bol”

Prabhat Pheri : The early morning procession from the Gurdwaras. Which goes around their locality singing Shabads/Religious Hymns and usually visit houses in requests for a divine presence.
