We did not know where it was, We did not know if we wanted to go, we did not know what it was
lol, we did not know where the fort was located, we just got fascinated with the movie shots and decided to go there. Full day Mandy was searching its where about’s on Google Earth and finally located we started. Through and Through we could not have afforded going in my civic, so Lally’s car was selected. Slept nearly 1.5 Hours and we started to travelling. With tweaks and turns, we reached finally; eyes filled with sleep; jet lag on lally’s car :-p and butterflies in stomach to see the fort. Lol, we reached around 4:00 with the sun still hiding, The Fort looked scary and since it was our first time, we did not dare go in and waited at the main road gurudwara sipping tea and chips. Finally when the sun came out we went in along with the car and clicked a few snaps, roamed around and had fun.
We Made a Video also, Have a look [Keep your headphones handy, you might wana listen also :-p]

2 Gun Men came over on a bike and inquired about us, They told us that the RDB Fort was a usual ADDA for Drug Addicts and so people staying nearby complained about ur car entering in the wee hours of the morning.

These 2 pictures were taken on a dome of the stable in the fort. Giani Gutka Singh [ Mandy ] was furious over my T-shirt… god knows why :-p

All in all, it was tiring but a remarkable trip
FYI, The Fort is called Doraha Sarai as given in detail below
Doraha Sarai is located at Doraha Village in Ludhiana District.
Built by the Mughal ruler Jahangir, it is a huge rectangular sarai with rooms and verandahs on all sides. Though in a dilapidated condition, its ancient grandeur can still be viewed from the two massive double-storied gateways, which still stands intact. One of the gates is beautifully decorated with blue and yellow glazed tiles. The second gate is different with its façade divided into panels and furnished with carved brickwork. There is also a mosque and a well in the courtyard.
Here is a Video on the RDB Fort aka the Doraha Sarai when its Spring Season
Doraha is a bewitching village which lies about 20 km east off Ludhiana. This village is associated with Guru Hargobind, the sixth Sikh Guru. Tradition has it that the Guru had halted here for a night during his journey from the Gwalior Fort.
Here is an Image from Google Earth which we used to find the actual location
Gurdwara Damdama Sahib Patshahi Chhevin is the main attraction. Built in 1932, this shrine contains a rectangular flat roofed hall. Doraha Sarai, a historical monument, is another attraction. Doraha Canal is a beautiful water body worth visiting.
Doraha has its own railway station. Ludhiana Airport is the nearest airport.
